Tulasi Group organises poor feeding

Guntur: Under the aegis of Tulasi Seeds’ Group, a major poor-feeding programme was organised at the Ganesh pandal in Adapavari street here on Tuesday. Tulasi Group Chairman Tulasi Ramachandra Prabhu graced the occasion as chief guest.

Earlier, Ganesh puja was performed. Ramachandra Prabhu wished the elephant-headed god that everyone should lead a happy and prosperous life. He prayed to the god for timely rains and for the country’s prosperity. Later, the deity’s laddu was auctioned.

Afterwards, a poor-feeding programme was commenced by Ramachandra Prabhu and Patakota Brahmanayya. Doddi Nataraj, Adapa Kasiviswanadham, Doddi Vamsidhar, Adapa Ramakrishna, Yerrabotu Vasu, Tulasi Parameswara Rao and others took part in the programme.
