Vijayawada: After successful conduct of Krishna Pushkaralu, the Krishna district administration is gearing up for hosting another mega
event, Amaravati Shopping Festival in Vijayawada from October 7 to 28. The mega festival will be organised in the city on the suggestion
of the big traders of the city.
The District Collector Babu A on Wednesday conducted a meeting with the traders and tourism department officials for the successful
conduct of Amaravati Shopping Festival in Vijayawada.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said a coordination meeting would be convened at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram on September 22
to discuss the hosting of festival.
He appealed to the traders to give huge discounts to attract the customers during the festival. He recalled Vijayawada successfully hosted
Krishna Pushkaralu. VMC Commissioner G Veerapandian, Sub-collector G Srijana and others attended the meeting.
