Compensation for displaced farmers through bank accounts

Pithapuram: Additional Joint Collector Radhakrishna Murthy said that compensation payable to farmers displaced by the national
highway-216 widening works would be credited directed to their bank accounts.

Speaking in connection with verification of documents of Pithapuram and Illindrada farmers at the tahsildar office here on Wednesday, he
said that compensation would be credited to 18 out of 20 farmers. Compensation is yet to be credited into bank accounts of four farmers
in Agraharam, 29 in Illindrada, three in Chebrolu and it would be done in two days, he said.
