Probe into frauds at SC Corporation soon
SC Corporation Chairman Jupudi Prabhakara Rao has announced that he is going to order an inquiry into the alleged frauds in the SC Corporation during the past 10 years.
Ongole: SC Corporation Chairman Jupudi Prabhakara Rao has announced that he is going to order an inquiry into the alleged frauds in
the SC Corporation during the past 10 years.
He visited the SC Corporation office in Ongole on Wednesday and said that he would wipe out the middlemen system in the corporation
permanently.
Jupudi Prabhakar said that the SC Corporation was taking initiatives to increase transparency in the selection of beneficiaries under
various schemes. He said that the corporation had disbursed Rs 1,101 crore as loans to 99,464 beneficiaries in the State in the present
financial year so far.
He announced that the corporation was making arrangements to offer skill enhancement training for more than one lakh SC youth
through multinational companies. To promote leather industry in Andhra Pradesh, Prabhakar announced that his corporation was going to
train 10,000 youth on leather technology at Chennai and encourage them to set up industries.
