Cattle vaccination drive launched

Anantapur: Civil Supplies Minister Paritala Sunitha launched vaccination campaign for animals including cows and buffaloes at Venkatapuram village in Ramagiri mandal on Friday. Speaking to cattle farmers on the occasion, Sunitha advised all cattle farmers to get their cattle vaccinated in view of the change in the climate.

Not only human beings but cattle and other animals are also susceptible to diseases in rainy season as such every cattle farmers irrespective of their cattle health status should get their animals vaccinated, she said. She personally vaccinated a few cattle and formally launched the campaign on behalf of the Veterinary department.
