Swiss Challenge appeal adjourned
A two judge bench of the High Court at Hyderabad comprising Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice U Durga Prasad Rao will take up on Monday the writ appeal on the Swiss Challenge.

While Advocate General Dammulapati Srinivas and senior counsels D Prakash Reddy and Vedula Venkata Ramana were seen waiting, the bench said the writ would not be taken up for paucity of time. With the Mallanna Sagar project matter consuming most of the court time, the bench informed the advocates in waiting that the matter would be taken up on Monday.
As reported earlier, the government is in appeal against the order of a single judge who stayed the process of selecting parties for establishing the new capital for the State of Andhra Pradesh based on the Swiss Challenge offer made by the Singapore consortium.
