Indian Bank distributes `1.26 cr loans to SHGs

Indian Bank distributed Rs 1.26 crore as loans to Self-Help Groups (SHG) as part of its 110th foundation year celebrations.  The bank conducted a mega loan mela at Microsate branch here on Saturday and Sunday.

Vijayawada: Indian Bank distributed Rs 1.26 crore as loans to Self-Help Groups (SHG) as part of its 110th foundation year celebrations. The bank conducted a mega loan mela at Microsate branch here on Saturday and Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, bank zonal manager P Sundaraiah said Indian Bank had always been ahead of others in delivering good services to the customers and it was keen on providing financial assistance to women of SHGs and people of weaker sections.

He distributed loan certificates to SHGs. Microsate branch chief manager Bulli Kumar, chief marketing manager K Rambabu and others were present.
