Vijayawada: Students of various schools showcased about 50 innovative models on different themes at a science exhibition held at Icon Public School in the city on Sunday, as part of the Youth Festival of Rotary Club of Vijayawada Midtown.
Speaking on the occasion, the school director, Y Parthasarathi, said the conduct of science fairs helps students develop competitiveness and come up with innovative ideas, which ultimately lead to invention of new technologies for the betterment of society.
School principal Kajol Chatterjee, Rotary Youth Services chairman Ch Prasad, directors Mansoor and P Shivasankar, the club president, T Kishan Babu, secretary M Krishna Prabhu and others were present.
