Youth festivals in Krishna dist from today
Youth welfare department of Krishna district will conduct Youth Festival in all the four divisions of the district. The department has invited the participants to enroll in various cultural competitions conducted at youth festivals.
Vijayawada: Youth welfare department of Krishna district will conduct Youth Festival in all the four divisions of the district. The department has invited the participants to enroll in various cultural competitions conducted at youth festivals.
The youth festivals will take place at Kaladharshini in Vijayawada on September 19, ANR College Gudivada on September 21, IIIT Nuzvid on September 26 and Hindu College on September 28. The cultural competitions include Carnatic vocal, Hindusthani vocal, Kuchipudi, Kathak, Manipuri, Odissi, Veena, Sitar, Tabla, Mridangam, Guitar, Harmonium, Flute, Mono Action, Elocution, Folk Music and Folk Dance. The candidates can participate in both solo and group performances.
The candidates with age between 15 and 35 years can participate in these youth festivals. Interested candidates must be enrolled with the copies of date of birth certificate, Aadhaar card and two passport size photographs on the given dates of youth festivals at 9 am.
