Nellore: Joint Director of Agriculture Hema Maheswara Rao informed that farmers in the district will get some relief from banks in the
form of rescheduling of agriculture loans.

According to Deputy General Manager, Syndicate Bank, Narasimha Murthy, the bank is considering rescheduling the loans after the State
government urged banks to provide speedy assistance to farmers. Lead Bank district manager Venkata Rao said that out of the target of
crop loans worth Rs 3,637 crore this year, the banks have already sanctioned loans to the tune of Rs 1,700 crore so far.

NABARD assistant general manager Ramesh Babu, regional manager of APGB Sivaiah, Syndicate Bank assistant general manger
Chandramouli and others were present.
