Accord approvals for industries: JC

Nellore: Joint Collector A Md Imtiyaz directed the officials to grant approvals to industries in the stipulated time. He reviewed with the
officials on Wednesday on permissions to 48 proposed industries in the district and enquired about status of 19 industries.

The Joint Collector said land documents have to be verified contacting registration department on their genuine nature and also clear
power connections coordinating with SPDCL. In all, 35 industries are waiting for approvals from the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control
Board and asked the officials to provide them by end of this month. He said they would be organising awareness sessions to interested
entrepreneurs at Naidu function hall in Naidupet on September 22 and Atmakur on September 29.

President of Chamber of Commerce, Nellore, V Subrahmanyam appealed to the industries department officials to conduct exhibition on
small scale industries in the district. In turn, the Joint Collector directed the industries department officials to conduct the exhibition
soon. General Manger of the District Industries Centre Y L Pradeep Kumar, Zonal Manager of APIIC Nageswara Rao and officials from
SPDCL, Pollution Control Board, Industries department, Lead Bank Manager Venkata Rao, town planning and other officials were present.
