Tirumala: The TTD administration has rolled out an effective and foolproof security arrangements for the ensuing annual Brahmotsavams, said Tirumala JEO K S Sreenivasa Raju.

He reviewed the security arrangements with the heads of engineering, reception, FMS (Facilitation Management services) at the CRO office in Tirumala on Wednesday to give finishing touches and fine tune the security system at Tirumala.

Speaking on the occasion, the JEO directed the TTD vigilance officials to coordinate with the police to provide foolproof protection to devotees round-the-clock. Special arrangements have been made for parking of vehicles on October 7, the crucial day of Garuda Seva, the major event of the nine day long annual Brahmotsvams of the Tirumala temple, which attracts lakhs of devotees from across the country.

He said annaprasadam, buttermilk and water packets would be distributed in the galleries on the four mada street around the temple where devotees wait to have a glimpse of the deity on Garuda Sevaday. The pilgrims will be allowed to enter the galleries in the afternoon itself well ahead of the commencement of Gartuda Seva which willstart at 7.30 pm in the night. The devotees should be given hassle free experience without any trouble in having darshan, rooms and annaprasadam, he advised the officials. Similarly, the devotees should also cooperate with the vigilance, police and TTD staff in making the Brahmotsavams a grand success.

ASP Trimurtulu, TTD VSO Ravindra Reddy, deputy executive officers Veerabrahmam, Harindranath and DSP Muniramaiah and other officials participated in the meeting.
