Man held for murder

Visakhapatnam: The police on Thursday arrested a person accused of killing his friend on September 15. Circle Inspector of One Town K
Venkat Rao said B Durga Rao and N Jagadeesh were friends and both were engaged in house ceiling works. Jagadeesh had borrowed
money from Durga Rao and failed to return in spite of the warnings. Fed up with the harassment and threatening calls from Durga Rao,
Jagadeesh shifted his family to Bhimili from One-Town. Later, Durga Rao started threatening Jagadeesh’s brother Siva Krishna and
ordered him to collect money from Jagadeesh.
On September 15, Durga Rao stabbed Siva Krishna with a knife following a heated argument over the money. Siva Krishna sustained
serious injuries and shifted to King George Hospital for treatment. But he later died on September 19. Based on the complaint from Siva
Krishna’s relatives, the police investigated the case and arrested Durga Rao.
