AISF stages protest for development of Jr college

Kodmur (Kurnool): Demanding Kodmur MLA’s intervention for the development of government junior college at Kodmur, the All India Students Federation (AISF) staged a protest here on Friday at Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy circle on Friday. AISF district secretary E Sree Ramulu Goud said that junior college was established in 1982 and the classes have been conducted at a high school up to 2009.
In 2010, the college has been shifted to its own building about two km away from the main town. Meanwhile, students are facing many problems due to lack of adequate class rooms, he stated.
Goud recalled that Kodmur MLA Mani Gandhi assured for the development of the college by taking up the issue with the MP in 2015, but in vain. AISF leaders Somesh, Somasekhar, Sunder Raju, Maddilety, Gopal, Mahesh Naidu, Lakshman, Dilip, Chandrasekhar and the students participated in the protest.
