Kakinada: A 23-year-old tribal woman Sangadi Santa Kumari of Dalipadu village in Y Ramavaram mandal of East Godavari who is undergoing a beautician course in Kakinada lodged a complaint against Varupula Raja Babu, second son of Prathipadu TDP-MLA, Varupula Subba Rao. In her complaint, she accused him of cheating her under the pretext of marriage and developed physical intimacy with her.
Basing on her complaint the Kakinada Rural Sarpavaram police registered a case on Friday with crime number 329/16 under sections 373 and 376 (SC, ST atrocity).
