Visakhapatnam: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu got his diplomatic passport renewed at the local passport office here on Friday. He arrived at the passport office at about 1 pm and filled all the necessary forms in the presence of data entry operator. The passport officer NLP Choudhary handed him over the passport within 15 minutes.
Choudhary, later explained the Chief Minister on the initiatives taken by his office in streamlining the issuance of passports to the applicants from the coastal region of Andhra Pradesh.
The officer also requested the chief minister to regularize the land belonging to the office as there were some issues pending regarding land alienation. The Chief Minister immediately asked Praveen Kumar to resolve the issue immediately. Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Anakapalle MP M Srinivas and local MLAs were present.
