Tirupati: Kovelamudi Venkataramana, an NRI, donated Rs 3,00,000 for instituting gold medal to the best outgoing student in the Department of Law, SV University, in memory of his father the late Kovelamudi Basavaiah, District Judge (retired), V Durga Devi, sister of Venkatamana, handed over the cheque for Rs 3,00,000 to SVU Vice-Chancellor Prof Avula Damodaram here on Friday.
