Tirupati: SVRR government hospital RMO (administration) Hari has been appointed as Chief Minsiter Camp Office Peripheral Centre (CMCOPC) medical officer. As many as six such CMCOPC were functioning in the State, including Tirupati, to ensure the poor, who have no NTR Arogya Seva medical card, also avail the services of the Arogya Seva.

Hari said considerable number of poor are not having the medical card which preventing them avail NTR Arogya Seva medical facility. CMCOPC medical officers will look into the cases of those not having the medical card, but are poor and issue certificate after through verification of their detail to get registered for NTR Arogya seva to avail medical facilities, including surgery.

However, the beneficiary should get registered within days after the issue of the certificate adding that the Tirupati regional centre will cover Rayalseema and Nellore districts.

Monthly about 150 such cases of poor suffering from major ailments like cancer and kidney problems, but not having the NTR Arogya seva card approaching SVRR hospital for treatment. He said a separate counter CMCOPC will be formally inaugurated at SVRR on Saturday. Next item
