Tirupati: Following the assurance of TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao on the demands of representatives of Bhajana Mandalis, the indefinite fast by the leaders of Bhajan troupes was called off here on Friday.
The devotional folk artistes groups (Bhajan Mandalis) under the banner of `Janapada Vruthi Kalakarula Sangham (JVKS) launched a protest to press the TTD management agree for the demands of troupes registered with them (TTD), while 11 leaders, including JVKS organising secretary Pulimamidi Yadagiri launched indefinite fast on Wednesday.
