Visakhapatnam: TDP city organising secretary and senior party leader Sanapala Panduranga Rao appealed Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to impress upon the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to initiate steps for conferring the country’s coveted and highest honour Bharat Ratna, to former Chief Minister NTR. He gave a representation to the Chief Minister, here on Friday.
Panduranga Rao appraised Naidu to convey the sentiment of Telugu people towards NTR, who strived hard for the development of poor and the downtrodden. He said that the NTR not only brought the TDP into power within a span of nine months, he had also brought recognition to Telugus across the nation.
