Eluru: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu blasts officials over the maintenance Tammileru rivulet that is encircling Eluru. The Chief Minister, who was en route to Zilla Parishad Centre to launch War against Mosquitoes (Domalapai Dandayatra), stopped at Tammileru rivulet, which was covered with hyacinth and garbage. He got down from his car and inspected the rivulet and summoned district administration officials.

The Chief Minister wanted the corporators to supervise sanitation in their divisions. He said that he would monitor the works in the city, frequently and would employ drones.District Collector K Bhaskar informed that they have initiated works worth Rs 18 crore and said that works would be completed by end of December.
