Amaravati: District In-charge Minister Nimmakayala Chinarajappa on Saturday launched ‘Domalapai Dandayatra -Parisarala Parisubhrata’ programme in Guntur city. Speaking on this occasion, he said mosquitoes are spreading dengue, malaria, and other viral fevers.He said it was not difficult to eradicate mosquitoes, if the people cooperate. He urged the people to keep their surroundings clean to check spread of viral fevers.

Minister for Agriculture Prattipati Pulla Rao sought cooperation of the people to make the programme a success. He reminded that the GMC as well as district medical and health departments are conducting awareness programmes.

Earlier, students of various educational institutions took out a rally to create awareness among people on eradication of mosquitoes. District Collector Kantilal Dande, district medical and health officer Padmaja Rani, GMC Commissioner Krishna Kapardhi and others were present.
