Priests take up cleaning of temple premises

Srisailam Project (Kurnool): In view of Navaratri, the Srisailam temple authorities have taken up cleaning of temple premises on Friday. Temple premises and sanctum sanctorum of Bhramarambhika and Mallikarjuna Swamy were cleansed.

After the completion of cleansing, a paste was applied on the walls of Garbhalayam and Antaralayam. Priests and the officers of the temple offered Maha Ganapathi prayers at the temple Raja Gopuram, Later, priests read ‘Suddhi Sankalpam’.The priests and the officers walked round the temple by keeping the Kalasam on their head amid chanting of Vedic hymns.
