Mahatma’s principles relevant for youth: Gandhian Studies Centre Director
Addressing girl students, director of studies centre, Prof D Venkateswara Rao said that Gandhian principles are more relevant in the present society particularly to youth. He said that students should know the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and added that they should emulate his teachings in the coming future. He called
Kakinada: A three-month certificate course on ‘Gandhian Philosophy’ was inaugurated at ASD Government Degree College for Women (autonomous) here under the aegis of Gandhian Studies Centre of Y N College, Narsapuram in West Godavari.
Addressing girl students, director of studies centre, Prof D Venkateswara Rao said that Gandhian principles are more relevant in the present society particularly to youth. He said that students should know the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and added that they should emulate his teachings in the coming future. He called upon girl students to practice Gandhian principles everyday and share their love and affection with fellow human beings.
Principal Ratnagiri Usha who presided over the programme said students to imbibe Gandhian principles and also advised them to read Gandhi’s biography ‘My Experiments with Truth’.
