Geyanand to contest for second term
He was first elected to united AP legislative Council in 2009. Subsequently, he became a member of AP Legislative Council of the successor State of AP. Dr Geyanand is a people\'s doctor in Anantapur and a State leader of Jana Vignana Vedika. He actively participated in the literacy and anti-arrack movement besides popularising science.
​Anantapur: MLC Dr Geyanand announced that he would be contesting the MLC elections for a second term in line with demand from several civil society organisations and well wishers.Speaking at a seminar on 25 years of economic reforms here on Wednesday, Geyanand said that the demand has come from several sections in his graduates constituency for contesting for second term to complete the good work, he started on many fronts as an MLC.
