​Anantapur: MLC Dr Geyanand announced that he would be contesting the MLC elections for a second term in line with demand from several civil society organisations and well wishers.Speaking at a seminar on 25 years of economic reforms here on Wednesday, Geyanand said that the demand has come from several sections in his graduates constituency for contesting for second term to complete the good work, he started on many fronts as an MLC.

During his 6 year stint as a MLC, Dr.Geyanad eloquently represented the concerns of Rayalaseema people for a just share in the development. Besides, he articulated the problems of various sections of the society including the poor and the marginalized.
