Hindi fortnight ends at Naval Science and Technological Laboratories
Delivering a key-note address at the valedictory of the Hindi Fortnight celebrations here on Wednesday, Amithava Das appealed to the scientists to present their technical papers in Hindi also. Various competitions in elocution, dictation, essay-writing and paper presentation, quiz, story writing and translation to the employees during the fortnight.
Visakhapatnam: Hindi is not the language of a particular State or region but it is a National Official Language which should be learnt by all citizens and efforts should be made for its promotion with a national outlook, observed Principal Associate Director of Naval Science and Technological Laboratories (NSTL) Amitava Das.

About 97 were given away with cash prizes total worth Rs 52,600. Assistant Director (Official Language) D Sailaja, Junior Translator Sampad Guha and Scientist-C Krishna Kumar Mishra conducted the competitions. Hindi Fortnight Celebrations Committee Chairman K Bhaskara Raju, Scientists, civilian employees and others attended.
