Further, Dr M Geyanand will contest for graduate’s constituency from Kadapa, Kurnool and Anantapur districts whereas Ajay Sharma will be in the fray from Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam districts.
Nellore: United Teachers Federation has announced its MLC candidates for the teachers and graduate constituencies, on Wednesday. UTF General Secretary Babu Reddy said that that Vithapu Balasubrahmanyam is the candidate for teacher’s constituency and Yandapalli Srinivasulu Reddy is the candidate for graduate’s constituency from Nellore, Prakasam and Chittoor districts, this time as well.

MLC V Balasubrahmanyam said that UTF had been formed to safeguard values in education system in the State. The Federation leaders discussed various topics such as changes required in the present education system, administrative reforms, and the strategies which the Federation needed to adopt in the forthcoming elections.
Babu Reddy said they would fight against the new education policy that had been diluting the educational system in the country and the State. He said that the Federation would take stringent steps through means of an agitation for protecting the educational system. He said that the process of voter enumeration had started keeping in mind the upcoming MLC elections.
