Reviewing the arrangements at the PAC-4 Central Command Centre on Wednesday, along with the Tirumala JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju, the TTD executive officer had instructed the officials to keep the laddu counters open round-the-clock during the Brahmotsavams.

​Tirumala: TTD executive officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao directed the officials of Potu (Tirumala temple kitchen) to keep adequate buffer stock of laddu ready with them as daily surge of devotees to Tirumala has crossed over one lakh to witness the Salakatla Brahmotsavams.

Reviewing the arrangements at the PAC-4 Central Command Centre on Wednesday, along with the Tirumala JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju, the TTD executive officer had instructed the officials to keep the laddu counters open round-the-clock during the Brahmotsavams.

He also directed the engineering officials to check all the grills, exit and entry points and also the locks at all gates to ensure that there were no hiccups when the crowds surged towards the gates after vahanam darshan. He asked the officials of electricity department to cover lighting at Tirumala with iron meshes to avert any untoward incident.

He also wanted the security and other outsourcing staff to be kept near most of the crucial lighting to face all emergencies, particularly at Hathiram Math and Archaka Nilayam where huge electrical illuminations were installed. The executive officer also advised the Vigilance and Security Forces to procure additional forces from Tirupati if the staff available at Tirumala were not adequate.
