Steel management, recognised union reach tripartite settlement
Executive Directors Debasish Ray, R P Srivastava and K V Ramana Rao, General Managers V Narayanan, T Sunder, J Srinivasa Rao and DGM K Sanjeeva Rao signed the from the management while Messrs D Sampoornam, B M K Naik, M N Reddy, Marisa Ramachandra Rao, Neerukonda Ramachandra Rao, Mantri Murthy and G V Subbayah from the recognized union signed the memorandum of settlement.
Visakhapatnam: A tripartite settlement has been reached between the Steel management and the recognised union in the presence of Regional Labour Commissioner (Central) S K Mishra here on Thursday for payment of Rs 10,000 as ex-gratia/ bonus to non-executive employees and Rs 8,000 for non-executive trainees. Steel Director G B S Prasad also attended.The ex-gratia/ bonus amounts will be credited to the individual bank accounts by October 7.
