A meeting of secretaries of all departments will be held on October 15 at State secretariat in Hyderabad on the issues related to the division of institutions mentioned in Schedule IX and X. ​Hyderabad: A meeting of secretaries of all departments will be held on October 15 at State secretariat in Hyderabad on the issues related to the division of institutions mentioned in Schedule IX and X. According to sources, Chief Secretary S P Tucker who would start functioning from interim Secretariat Government Complex (ISGC), Velagapudi from October 11, has decided to work from his office in Hyderabad secretariat on every Saturday.
Accordingly, the first meeting with secretaries of all departments has been convened on October 15, to discuss about the progress made and steps to be taken on the division of the common institutions as per the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.
The meeting would finalise the number of skeleton staff from each department to be stationed at Hyderabad. Due to lack of space at Velagapudi some of the offices of the new entities formed by the government, including State Economic Development Board (SEDB), office of the State representative for Non-Resident Telugus (NRTs) have been functioning from Hyderabad. The meeting is also likely to discuss on the usage of the secretariat buildings at Hyderabad by AP government.
