Vijayawada: Priests of Durga temple staged a protest at Arjuna Street on Tuesday evening alleging that the police were over acted during the Dasara celebrations. They squatted near the Arjuna temple for one hour which delayed the Teppotsavaram celebrations in Krishna river on Tuesday. The temple officials and the police officials discussed the matter and resolved the issue amicably. The problem was started when temple authorities have brought the deity from Mallikarjuna swamy mandapam to Krishna river for the Teppotsavaram.
