Kurnool: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu ordered the District Collectors to expedite the Smart Pulse Survey and complete the process by the end of October. He held a video- conference on Smart Pulse Survey and ‘Chandranna Bheema’ scheme with the District Collectors from Vijayawada on Friday.

The Chief Minister directed the officers to complete the survey by October 24 and examine the secured data for two days i.e; on October 25 and 26. He further stated to secure the left over data of the persons, who are not present during survey or have been migrated to some other place, for three more days by sending the enumerators to every household in the villages concerned. He said enumerators have to ensure transparency in collecting the data without compromising during the survey in order to extend the benefits to the beneficiaries. Panchyat secretaries have been given the responsibility to collect the survey particulars.

District Collector Ch. Vijay Mohan assured the Chief Minister that he would complete the survey within 10 days. He said out of 40 lakh population in the district, survey has covered 30 lakh, while the survey of remaining 10 lakh would be completed within 10 days. Vijay Mohan bringing to the notice of the Chief Minister said around two lakh Madasi Kuraba community are not cooperating with the survey demanding its inclusion in SC community. Similarly, 25,000 Budaga Janga community, too, is demanding the government to include in
SC list.

Joint Collector C Hari Kiran, DRO Gangadhar Goud, Rayalasema University Vice-Chancellor Prof Y Narasimhulu, Joint Director Agriculture Uma Maheshwaramma, Zilla Parishad CEO Eshwar, DPO Anand Naik, Municipal Commissioner Ravindra Babu and other staff were present at the video conference.
