​Visakhapatnam: One of the two who suffered 70 per cent of burns in a blast occurred in the SMS-2 of Vizag Steel Plant on Wednesday, M Raja Rao who was a foreman there, died in a hospital in Mumbai on Friday evening.
He was airlifted to Mumbai only on Friday morning though his condition was stated to be critical to provide better treatment but died while undergoing treatment.
Expressing grief over the sudden death of Raja Rao, the JMS leader Varasala Srinivasa Rao said that despite hectic efforts by the management to save his life, he passed away. The second person Suman Roy is undergoing treatment in Mumbai, he added.
