Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh Assembly’s Privileges Committee issued notices to 12 YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) MLAs seeking clarification on their violent behaviour in the House.
The YSRCP MLAs, during the last winter session, had stormed the Speaker’s podium to express their protest and demanded immediate discussion on failure to get special status to Andhra Pradesh.
Taking serious exception to the unparliamentary behaviour of the Opposition MLAs, the Privileges Committee of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly served notices on them.
The committee asked the MLAs to appear before it on October 25 and 26.
