Governor consoles Rayapati

Later, speaking to the media, MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao said that he would urge the Centre to accord statutory status to the Special Package announced by it and set up Railway University in Gurazala. He further stated that the he would request Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to take steps to set up IT companies in Amaravati.Â
Guntur: Governor E S L Narasimhan called on MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao in the city and consoled the bereaved MP and his family members. It may be recalled that MP’s wife Leela Kumari passed away recently. The Telugu Desam Party MP and his family members welcomed the Governor upon his arrival at the former’s residence.
