Muddu hits out at YSRCP leaders
Normally, every year the MLAs including Ministers submit the details of their assets to Speaker of the House but Naidu had been declaring his and his family members assets in public, he said, citing the recent declaration of assets by Nara Lokesh which he said is the much needed healthy trend in politics.
Tirupati: Senior TDP leader and MLC G Muddu Krishnama Naidu slammed YSR Congress Party leaders including its general secretary Bhumana Karunakar Reddy terming the declaration of the Chief Minister family’s assets as a joke.Speaking to the media here on Friday, Naidu said that probably Chandrababu Naidu is the only Chief Minister who is continuing the laudable practice of declaration of his and family members assets every year since 2011 which no other leaders in public life including the Prime Minister, Lok Sabha Speaker and others were following.

Sharply reacting to YSRCP leaders accusing CM and his son of indulging in corruption, Muddukrishnama Naidu said it was their leader (YS Jaganmohan Reddy) who is facing as many as 11 cases of CBI and ED but not Chandrababu and his family. In fact, Y S Rajasekhara Reddy when he was Chief Minister tried his best to implicate Chandrababu in cases but failed even after initiating enquiries against Chandrababu while the High Court also set aside the attempts of YSRCP leaders’ including Vijayamma, mother of Jaganmohan Reddy, who filed cases against Chandrababu and even pulled up Vijayamma on the issue, he pointed out.
On the other hand, Nara Lokesh as national general secretary of the party had been acting in a most transparent manner and also doing his best for the welfare of the party loyal activists, he said.Lokesh was instrumental in introducing insurance cover to the party activists, supporting the education and health of the needy workers’ families, Muddu said.
It may be noted here that Karunakar Reddy said that even a traffic constable could vouch Chandrababu and his son Nara Lokesh as most corrupt in the State and termed the assets declaration as joke while Rajampeta MP Mithun Reddy offered 50 per cent more than the value of the assets declared by Lokesh and dubbed it totally false.
