Kadapa: Minister for Social Welfare Minister Ravela Kishore Babu on Tuesday asserted that the government was committed to the welfare of downtrodden communities. He urged the SCs and STs to make proper use of the welfare programmes.Participating in ‘Chandranna Dalita Bata’ along with SC, ST Commission chairman Joopudi Prabhkar here, the Minister alleged that the Congress, which ruled the State earlier, had diverted the funds meant for the welfare of SCs and STs to other purposes.
