Anantapur: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) and its State and national bodies launched a two-day legal awareness campaign at the district, State and national levels to spread the message of legal aid particularly to the poor who needed legal aid to fight their cases.
The door-to-door campaign began on Wednesday with the help of the police, government departments and NGOs throughout the district. The campaign would conclude on Thursday evening. Efforts were being made to create awareness on the availability of legal aid services to the poor and the marginalised sections free of cost. Awareness was also being created on the rights of the poor.
