‘Ensure peaceful conduct of APPSC exam’

Kurnool: Joint Collector C Hari Kiran instructed the officials to take all measures for the peaceful conduct of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) examination for the post of Assistant Executive Engineers on November 6. Addressing the officials at his chambers here on Wednesday, Hari Kiran said that the APPSC exam would be held at eight centres in Kurnool and one centre at Adoni.

“The Kurnool, Kallur and Adoni Tahsildars, TV Ramesh Babu, Narendranath Reddy and Srinivasulu, have been appointed as liaison officers for monitoring the exams,” he said. Hari Kiran said 4,251 candidates would be appearing for the Civil and Mechanical Engineering posts and the exams would be held from 10 am to 12.30 pm on Sunday. Prohibitory orders under Section 144 would be in force near the exam centres and Xerox centres would be closed during the exams.
