Visakhapatnam: Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA), Paderu has launched a unique and educative programme ‘Nela Nela Vennela’ for the candidates studying in Tribal Welfare Residential Schools in the Agency recently.

Paderu Sub-Collector and In-charge Project Officer Siva Sankar Lotheti informed on Wednesday that officials working in scheduled mandals are imparting tips on career guidance and suggestions for best academic future to the students batch-wise after assessing the future plans of the students.

He hoped this programme of Vidya Deepti - Nela Nela Vennela would yield good results and as a part of the programme, the students will also be taken out for excursions. The In-charge PO said in the first phase, a total of 510 students of four schools from Araku Valley and Anantagiri mandals were taken out for an excursion to Borra Caves, Indira Gandhi Zoological Park, Kailasagiri, R K Beach and Vuda Central Park in the city on Wednesday.

Teachers, physical education teachers, project directors, assistant tribal welfare officer, Araku M Mallikharjuna Rao and tribal welfare officer of Anantagiri B Suryanarayana accompanied the students.
