Minister sings paeans to CM
Minister for Transport, Roads and Buildings Siddha Raghava Rao laid the foundation stone for the construction of houses under NTR
Darsi: Minister for Transport, Roads and Buildings Siddha Raghava Rao laid the foundation stone for the construction of houses under NTR Housing Scheme at Siddha Raghava Rao Nagar in Tallur.
The Minister also handed over the Rs 1.5 lakh loan sanction certificates and house pattas to 64 beneficiaries in the locality. He announced that poverty less society is the main aim of the State government and it is trying to provide infrastructure to the public to encourage them to get more income.
He said that he has already spent Rs 1500 crore for the development of Darsi constituency and spending another Rs 950 crore to construct roads to interconnect Donakonda-Podili and Ongole –Darsi.
He said that the government has taken up lift irrigation works with Rs. 70 crore and construction of International Driving Training Centre at Darsi with Rs 23 crore and a social welfare residential school at Kurichedu with Rs 23 crore.
He praised Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for taking up various welfare activities through the SC ST, BC, Minorty, Kapu and Brahman Corporations and helping their children to continue higher studies abroad. During his tour in the constituency on Wednesday, the Minister renewed his party membership at Chimakurti Harihara Kshetram and started works of cement roads at Raza Nagar in Malkapuram panchayat in Tallur mandal.
He promised to provide RO water plant to Raza Nagar and undertake survey works of Mogiligundala tank at Sivaram Puram to construct a reservoir.
