Rajamahendravaram: Speakers at “Inspire Science Exhibition-2016” opined that science exhibitions bring out innovative skills and knowledge of the students. Inaugurating the exhibition, Rural MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary, East Godavari Collector H Arun Kumar said that State government has decided to launch digital classrooms in all government schools to introduce modern teaching methods.

The MLA said that the government schools will be on par with private schools with improved teaching standards, adopting modern technology and skills by the students. He asked the teachers to focus on Mathematics and help students to master it and also encourage them to participate in science fairs and competitions.

Mayor Pantam Rajani Sesha Sai said that every student who participated in this exhibition should feel that they got very good opportunity in life and share their happiness and ensure their classmates take part in the next fair. He said that the exhibitions bring out the inherent skills of the students.

Collector Arun Kumar said that science helps the society for its development and student should understand that how every project, research work going to be useful in their life. He said that e-learning will give scope to improve scientific knowledge.

The Collector said that under Swacch Sankalp programme the district administration has taken up sanitation programme in all the villages and they have constructed two lakh more individual sanitary latrines in the district. He said that there is a proposal in the pipeline that in each school student should grow vegetables and the modalities will be finalised soon.

Sub-Collector Vijaya Krishnan, DEO Narasimha Rao, Palkol MLA Ramu Naidu, Exhibition in-charge Vanajakshi and Deputy DEO Abraham and others participated in the programme.
