Visakhapatnam: BJP MP Dr K Hari babu was invited by the British government to participate in its Annual Flagship Chevening CPR
(Centre for Policy Research) Parliamentarians Fellowship Programme for Indian leaders to be held from November 6 to 12.

The objective of the programme is to showcase distinguished Indian Parliamentarians and provide insight and research on priority issues
for India. It gives an opportunity to meet top decision makers in a wide range of fields to exchange ideas, solutions and develop future
networks and contacts. The tailor-made programme will focus on leadership, international relations, social and public policy and is being
hosted by the India Institute at King’s College, one of the oldest and prestigious universities of London. The King’s India Institute was
created as a centre for global engagement with contemporary India.

The topics to be discussed in the programme include-UK-India relations-UK government’s view on South Asia, BBC coverage of India and
South Asia, global finance-Europe and the US, London as a Portal to Britain and the World-building Smart Cities, British politics,
Parliament, committees and members, climate change, terrorism and cyber security. The MP is leaving Delhi for London on Sunday to
participate in the programme and will return to Delhi on November 15.
