Andhra Pradesh Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao on Monday responded to YSR Congress Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy\'s public meeting on the accordance of special category status to the state.
Andhra Pradesh Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao on Monday responded to YSR Congress Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's public meeting on the accordance of special category status to the state.
Stating that Jagan's speech aimed to obstruct investments, employment opportunities in AP, the Minister said that the government is committed towards the development of the state which will not have any impact irrespective of the obstructions from the opposition leader.
Speaking at a press conference in Guntur, Mr Rao pointed out that Jagan seems to be not aware of the fact that the Reserve Bank of India had recognized AP for garnering 15 percent Investments of the country.
He further mentioned that nearly 2,23,000 employment opportunities have been created so far in the state and also half of the election promises are already fulfilled adding that the government is looking into fulfilling the unemployment allowance.
