Addressing the media here on Thursday, he said that the Chief Minister would open new technology for the first time in India for growth of the better breed cattle in the State.

​Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Animal Husbandry director G Somasekhar said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the new Invitro Fertilisation and Ambrio Transfer System at Labbipet in STR Veterinary Super Specialty Hospital in the city on Friday with the support of the Animal Husbandry department and GK Trust.

Addressing the media here on Thursday, he said that the Chief Minister would open new technology for the first time in India for growth of the better breed cattle in the State.

He also said that the main objective of the new technology in Invitro Fertilization and Ambrio Transfer is developing Ongole and Punganur cattle breed under the Rashtriya Gokul Mission of the Union government.

It would also improve the artificial pregnancy in national cattle and help to support pregnancy in the cattle,” he added.

He also said that the State government and GK Trust would start the system on an experimental basis and the laboratory would function with the help of JK Bovagenix. This laboratory would supply good race cattle fetuses and supply of baby animals.

It will also save the good race cattle fetuses and baby animals for future purpose and the State government arranged a mobile vehicle for creating awareness among rural masses on Invitro Fertilization and Ambrio Transfer system,” he added.
