Pithapuram: Sub-judge D Ammanna Raja said the judiciary has been standing by the poor and weaker sections in rendering justice though he did admit that there was some delay in extending justice to the aggrieved parties on occasion.

Asking people to desist from approaching the Courts even for resolution of minor issues, he said that people were being sensitized on the Court procedures and advantages of Lok Adalat.

Magistrate K Haribabu, Bar Association president Piratla Bhanumurthy and secretary Padala Ravi and others took part in the celebrations.
