Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP TG Venkatesh said on Wednesday that Andhra Pradesh would share Hyderabad as a common capital with Telangana State for a period of ten years. He stated the period may be extended depending upon the division of assets that are likely to get for AP. 

Kurnool: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP TG Venkatesh said on Wednesday that Andhra Pradesh would share Hyderabad as a common capital with Telangana State for a period of ten years. He stated the period may be extended depending upon the division of assets that are likely to get for AP.

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, the MP said Hyderabad would be shared as a common capital for a period of ten or further more years until and unless division of properties between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh was not sorted out. He said Andhra Pradesh has been facing water scarcity because of upper riparian states.

There is need to fight against the water allocation to Andhra Pradesh from the Karnataka government. He alleged that Karnataka has been drawing excess water than allocated.

Venkatesh further said that he is welcoming the victory of Donald Trump in the US presidential elections. Trump has won the elections by promising three things that he will do to the Americans. He assured of weeding out the terrorists and will ensure peace in the country, create more job opportunities to the locals and provide tax relaxation. The MP also appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking sensational decision on black money.

Prior to the meeting, Telugu Association of North America (TANA) chairman TG Bharat said that the TANA would organise stage play competitions at TGV Kala Kshetram from November 22 to 24.
