Earlier, the Jana Sena Chief had conducted two public meetings on the issue in Tirupathi Kakinada.
Reports suggest that Pawan Kalyan opined that the special status would benefit the drought-hit Anantapur and the funds granted along with it would save the district which is the reason Anantapur has been chosen as the venue for his next public meet.
Titled at Seemandhra Hakkula Chaitanya Sabha, the meeting is named after Kalluru Subba Rao and is scheduled to take place at 4 PM.
