Vizianagaram: Siva temples were flooded with devotees on Thursday. Women assume that offering prayers to Lord Siva on Ekadasi is good.
Devotees performed special pujas and offered prayers at Siva temples in Parvathipuram, Gumpa, Punyagiri, Jayathi, Narayanapuram and Addapusila. Temple authorities have made special arrangements for devotees to perform abhisekhams.
Gomatha puja was conducted at Saibaba temple complex where Siva temple also situated. A large number of women participated in the special ritual and fed the cows with grass and fruits.
