The Devineni Venkataramana & Praneeta cricket grounds, situated at Dr Gokaraju Laila Gangaraju ACA cricket complex in Mulapadu on the outskirts of Vijayawada came alive to international action on Thursday. IT was a historic day for ACA as it became the latest venue on the international calendar when it hosted the first ODI between India and West Indies women.
The locals had an enjoyable time as players from both teams were practicing for the past five days. Our photographer Ch Venkata Mastan captures some of the moments from the day’s proceedings, the highlight of which was India’s comfortable six-wicket win.
